How to divide a curve or arc in to specified segments in  Autocad tutorial

How can you divide a curve or object into equally sized segments?You would have tried to find a solution for days! It doesn’t actually have to be a ‘physical’ devision. But it would be good to know a solution for both: dividing eg. a curve into equally sized segments, ie. creating vertices/curvepoints



1) First create a simple 3 point curve

2) Then type measure in the command window or select measure tool

3) Select the object (arc) then Auto cad will ask the length of a segment – enter the length of a segment you want

4) To view the segmented point go to Format menu and select Point style then you will see the below window

5) Select set size relative to screen and make 5 %     point size and also select a appear-able point style

6) Now  you can view the split-ed segments
