In common sense no one will accept the surveyed data in above manner. But time has changed. Nowadays you can survey in any angle without holding the pole vertically.
The Leica GS18 T is the world’s first tilt compensating rover, so that you can survey without holding the rover vertically. As above image depicts you can measure even under a vehicle truck. You will save a lot if time because it is no longer needed to hold the pole vertical to level the bubble.
